Monument

Marshal of Afghanistan Monument is located at the Marshal Fahim National Defense University (MFNDU). The monument was proposed and designed by the MFNDU to honor the life and legacy of the late Marshal Fahim.  After approval by the Ministry of Defense of Afghanistan, Marshal Fahim Foundation began construction of the monument in 2017. The monument was inaugurated on April 4th, 2018 by the Chief Executive of the National Unity Government of Afghanistan HE Dr. Abdullah Abdullah.

Inauguration ceremony was attended by Chief of Army Staff General Sharif Yaftali, Minister of Interior General Taj Mohmmad General, Former Chief of Army Staff General Karimi, Commander of MFNDU Lt. General Jalandarshah, and National Directorate of Security First Deputy Adib Fahim.
